Basically, wondering if anyone can tell me whether the non resonated pipe that miltek supply is a straight fit to the standard backbox? Has anyone done this before, just wondering how it would sound? Found this on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiesta-ST-Mill...=item27d0f3dc2b

Aha, dont wanna be messing about with cutting and welding to be honest, think I'm gonna have to stop being a cheap skate and get one bought. I'm on the lookout for a second hand one really, dont fancy paying 400-500quid on a new one.

The cat, standard flexi and backbox would mean its still quite. Cherry bombs arnt a bad price and you could probably stick one of those to the Milltek centre section (no chopping up the standard exhaust)

It'll make it a little bit raspier, but not a huge difference.
When I had my old MK5 1.25 I had an ashley backbox put on which made a very slight difference to the noise. When I then had a straight through pipe put on, the noise was absolutely mental.

I was thinking more just buying that centre section on ebay to replace my standard centre section, may aswell just get a milltek catback instead of a cherry bomb.

I'll have a listen when I get home, I was thinking it would make it much louder but then was a bit unsure because of the back pressure needed etc. I'm no expert on stuff like this, but I thought a smaller piper would mean less restriction therefore less silencing and more sound without losing performance lol. Seen a milltek catback on ebay that I'm gonna keep a close eye on and may put a sneaky bid in near the end
